MANCHESTER UNITED AND ANTONY TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports. Manchester United were very interested in signing Ajax winger Antony. However, the interest from the Red Devils has cooled down in recent weeks. Many reports also claimed that the Brazilian winger had agreed personal terms with the Premier League. Although, United are having problems in agreeing a price with Ajax.

This is due to the reluctance of the Dutch giants to sell another important player. Ajax are reportedly demanding $80million for the winger. However, Manchester are not ready to pay such a high price for the winger. Another report also claimed the Red Devils are trying to find cheap and quality alternatives for Antony.

ANTONY IS ALSO NOW REPORTEDLY HAPPY TO STAY AT AJAX

Now it seems Antony is also happy to stay at the club. The report claims that Antony is now not desperate to join Manchester United. It also adds that the player will now think twice before joining the Premier League side this summer. However, this is not the end of the saga. According to reports, United will try to still convince him in the latter stages of the window.

Manchester United desperately needs an attacker this season. Edison Cavani has already left on a free transfer. Whereas Marcus Rashford has been linked with a move to PSG. But the big one of them is the potential departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is still looking for a move to a club in the Champions League. Hence, the Red Devils need attackers at the club.

Antony still has three years left on his contract. He has made 82 appearances for the Dutch giants till now. He has scored 24 goals and also provided 22 assists in the process. Ajax’s boss has also said that the club are not planning on selling the winger.
