It was a vintage display by the Premier League Champions Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium as they beat Arsenal by 3 goals to close the gap with Chelsea as they eye a top 4 finish.

The Gunners were never really into the game as the Reds not only dominated the position but also kept a clean sheet away from their home.

Let’s have a look at the individual performance displayed by the players of both the teams and rate the players accordingly out of a 10 point match rating.

Arsenal, Six Sports

Liverpool player ratings VS Arsenal:

Alisson (6): He was standing still most of the time as he hardly hand anything to do as most of the game was played in the oppositions half, Lovely moustache. That is all.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (9): Excellent. Fantastic cross in the box for Jota to create the 1st goal and won the ball back for Jota’s second. Put his disappointment of being dropped by Southgate firmly behind him.

Nat Phillips (7): He was dominant in the air, a clean sheet for the youngster all over it was a solid performance for the Reds.

Ozan Kabak (7): It looks like he has finally found his place in the Liverpool T-shirt, looked impressive another clean sheet for the young led.

Andy Robertson (7): An energetic display by him. Was substituted in the second half as a precaution. All over a pretty decent performance by the left-back.

Fabinho (8): Dominated midfield. Won the ball back so often and great pass to salah for his 18th Premier League goal this season.. Dominated midfield.

James Milner (6): Missed a big chance in first half. But reliable in midfield and then at left back.

Thiago Alcantara (7): His passing and ball control is always exceptional. Klopp wanted him to get on the ball more which he did in the second half a good performance overall.

Mohamed Salah (8): The 2nd in the top goal-scoring chart in the Premier League this season. He found the net by a brilliant finish and put himself back in the scoring chart.

Roberto Firmino (6): Dropped in deep very often, looked tired after his return from injury.

Sadio Mane (6): It was yet another game for him where he looked frustrated. He could not finish the chances he got in the game but worked hard.

Arsenal, Six Sports

Calum Chambers (5): Made it tough for mane to score but nothing much to offer offensively.

Rob Holding (5): He looked good initially blocked a lot of balls but couldn’t maintain it for much long.

Nicolas Pepe (4): He never really looked like he was part of the game. A poor display from the Ivorian.

Martin Odegaard (5): Tough game for the Norwegian, looked tired and needed to show more energy in the game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (4): Like Pepe on the other flank he just wasn’t in the game. Spent most of his game doing defensive work and tracking back.

Alexandre Lacazette (5):Battled hard up front but found himself dropping increasingly deep as Arsenal couldn’t get out in the match.

Substitutes:

Cedric Soares (4):Couldn’t do much against Salah and Trent. Overall not a good performance.
