Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal just before the end of the transfer window from Chelsea on loan. Mikel Arteta was looking for a winger and in the end, he believed that Sterling would be good enough. Both Arteta and Sterling worked together during their time at Manchester City.

Raheem Sterling will be paid £325,000 per week at Arsenal. However, the Gunners are not going to pay the full wage, they will cover half of his wage and that is £162,500 per week. The rest amount will be paid by Chelsea to the English international.
