Arsenal are getting ready to make a bid for Lautaro Martínez in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal needs a good striker:
The Gunners did not sign a single player in the January Transfer Window. Mikel Arteta was already in dire need of a good striker at the moment. A prolific striker can score many goals and take the team forward. However, it looks like the management did not really try much and sign any one. The Gunners lost recently against NewCastle United. In that match, we were all able to see what a good striker can do. Alexander Isak played really well. However, every time Arsenal were pushing forward, they were not able to pass the ball properly. Kai Havertz was mainly out of position. Most of the shots were taken by Martin, the skipper instead.
Arsenal trying to sign Lautaro Martínez:
The Gunners are looking forward to spend a lot of money to sign Lautaro Martínez from Inter Milan. Arsenal is said to break a record breaking transfer fee in the next summer transfer window of £100m (120m euros). This is why they did not really spend much in the summer as well. Lautaro will be a really good investment for the Gunners as well. He is a really good player. He will be able to score a lot of goals for them.
Author’s Opinion:
I think he will be really good for Arsenal. The Argentinian was also a Balon Dor contender last season as well. He is a really great player. Arteta should make him play at the striker position and replace Kai Havertz. He is a really mediocre player. Kai does not show up when Arsenal needs it the most. He becomes a ghost during big games as well. The Gunners have a really dynamic team and a great squad depth as well. All they need right now is a good striker who can actually score many goals. He can be in good positions as well.
