Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal is interested in signing Mykhaylo Mudryk. The winger plays for Shakhtar Donetsk.
However, the winger is impressing many big European clubs. Although, the Ukrainian club will only sell the player for a mega bid.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal holds a strong interest in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. He also claims that the interest is at an early stage. Hence, they have not yet placed a bid for the winger. Although, they will move for him in January if the price is right. The January transfer window is a difficult transfer window. This is because the clubs do not want to sell their best players. Hence, this also applies for Shakhtar Donetsk.
Fabrizio Romano further said,
“He mentions the right positions, it will be a midfielder and a winger. Arsenal now go for players they trust, like Liverpool, and this is the best strategy for a top club,” Romano said. “It is not easy to find the right player in January. There are no advanced negotiations, I am told, but I will mention a midfielder and a winger. Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk is a player they really appreciate and I am sure they are keeping an eye on him, but it depends on the price.”
THE DEAL WILL BE VERY HARD TO COMPLETE IN THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW
A report has also claimed that Shakhtar are confident that the player will stay at the club this season. This is because they have increased the price of his transfer. The report also claims that they will demand 60 million for Mykhaylo. Therefore, this will make the player basically untouchable in the January transfer window.
However, they can have a pre-agreement for the move in the summer. This is because the winger would like to play for Arsenal. He said in an interview that he was impressed with the coaching and management of Mikel Arteta. Hence, the Gunners can surely agree on personal terms easily. Shakhtar Donetsk will also reduce their price a little bit for the next summer transfer window.
Therefore, Arsenal must wait until the next summer transfer window for Mykhaylo Mudryk. It will also be to the players benefit to not move to a big club in January. This is because many of the young players have destroyed their bright career by moving to a big club in the January transfer window.
