Reports from Italy say that Arsenal are the ‘most determined’ club to sign Milinkovic-Savic. No deal has been agreed by him with Lazio. A contract extension at Lazio looks bleak at the moment.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Milinkovic-Savic. He is all but set to leave Lazio.
The ex-midfielder Paul Merson told an outlet last summer that Mikel Arteta could improve his squad with the addition of Milinkovic-Savic. He further went on to say;
“Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has had a good summer of transfer business following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, but out of the top-class midfielder signings he could make, one player stands out”
“Leicester’s Tielemans would tick the box for Arsenal. He’d be a decent alternative. But Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the player I would go for.”

Milinkovic Savic is a top quality midfielder and would definitely improve Arsenal. Arsenal’s midfield needs strengthening as they will return to Champions League after 7 years.
