Arsenal linked with another world-class forward

Isak might be very important to Newcastle‘s project, but clear indicators are that Profit and Sustainability Rules may make Magpies consider very substantial offers from Arsenal. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has now stated that he wants to retain the key players like Isak, but the appetite of Arsenal to pay the sky-high valuation would test their willpower. Now Arsenal’s sporting director Edu and Arteta see Isak as the missing piece to elevate the team further with the idea of putting him with this dynamic attacking setup.

This transfer in the ascendancy has also reflected tactical thinking from Arteta in putting together a squad that can challenge these forces in both domestic and European competition. The signing, if it does come, would make for a very big statement from Arsenal-ambition by a club looking to reclaim its proper place among the elite.

Arsenal and Isak

Newcastle are eager to keep Isak since he is still on his present deal until 2028, and they do not want P&S financial pressure to influence a few of their decisions. Arsenal regard Isak as the perfect player who will enhance their front with a clinical centre-forward and strengthen their chances of winning the title next season. Still, Newcastle will hardly let the youngster go as he is an important part of their plans.

The fact that Isak is this important to Newcastle’s project has the signals of Profit and Sustainability Rules meaning that Magpies might probably look at huge offers. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe said that his team would want to retain everyone, and that includes Isak. Arsenal’s willingness to pay the going price would, however, test their commitment. Isak was, according to Arsenal’s sports director Edu and Arteta, the “missing piece” to make the squad even better and partner him with the dynamic attacking set-up.
