Arsenal are seriously facing issues regarding their performance. The Gunners are still waiting for a goal in their last six appearances in all matches, following the defeats against Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Inter Milan. They now seriously want the 25-year-old PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani.
PROBLEMS CONTINUE FOR THE GUNNERS
Arsenal, among those three games, had 36 shots on target. But, all of that creating chances was for nothing. A team cannot win matches if they cannot score. Many fans have been requesting Arteta to bring in a striker, hoping to be still in the part of the title race. KOLO MUANI AS BACKUP?

The striker joined the Ligue 1 giants in 2023 from Eintracht Frankfurt for a deal of £76.4 million. But, now he is out of favor and has not featured in the club’s last three league games.
It is claimed by PSG that they are open to allowing Kolo Muani to leave on loan this January. Therefore, Arsenal is interested in signing him on a short-term basis. It firstly was reported that other Premier League clubs may have contacted PSG with the French striker.
WILL KOLO MUANI SOLVE THE “GUN” PROBLEM?
Kolo Muani started his career in his home country, playing professionally for FC Nantes back in 2018. He just made a shy appearance for the Canaries before going to Frankfurt.
In his full season at the Deutsche Bank Park, the French panther scored 23 goals in all competitions, helping the German side finish runners-up in the German Cup.
Then came the huge leap to the French capital, however struggling to stay consistent. Last season, he scored 9 goals in 40 games in all competitions. Moreover, even in this season, he has scored only two in 10 games. Despite his struggling in PSG, he remains in a regular spot for the France national team. Till now, he has made 25 appearances for Les Bleus with eight goals.
PSG paid such a surplus amount of money for Kolo Muani as he was already a star-boy for the German side. But his radiant nature and scoring ability may come in handy for Arsenal. Arsenal is struggling to secure goals against Newcastle and Inter Milan.
The more time passes, the more curious the Premier League teams are becoming in signing new contracts. Even though the 2023/24 season was not that satisfactory for Kolo Muani, he still can prove himself in the biggest stage of them all. He now has the attention of Arsenal, Manchester United, City, and West Ham as the front runners. If he wants to prove himself in the right manner, it’s entirely up to time which team will get hold of him.
Arsenal, on the verge of despair, has to wait till January. As of Sunday, they will have to face their rivals Chelsea in the Premier League. Eventually, many fans will still not be so confident about his performance as of last season. But, he might be quite useful for Arsenal, if used properly. Arsenal has to make use of him for this short period. Otherwise, Arsenal might have to spend another season without the Premier League.
