As per sources, Arsenal are more likely to sign £60 million striker than Gyokeres.
Arsenal and their search for attackers
The Gunners are now looking to strengthen their attacking line in this transfer window. It’s very clear that they priority for this campaign is to bring in a striker.
Recently, the Gunners have made a bid for Ollie Watkins earlier this week. They have also approached for Brighton’s Evan Ferguson too. It seems that the north London side may sign two forwards this year. With that, a big-name player could arrive in the summer.
Ben Jacobs, on Curtis Shaw TV, has been discussing the strikers Arsenal options. Those players they could be looking to sign at the end of the season. He’s highlighted three of the potential targets.
Jacobs thinks that Benjamin Sesko is the most workable target for them heading in to the next summer. Another one being Alexander Isak, he is second in terms of viability, ahead of Viktor Gyokeres.
Isak to Arsenal is more likely than Gyokeres
Ben Jacobs discussed about Mikel Arteta’s side and their potential targets this month.
As per the journalist, Benjamin Sesko is their most likely summer signing. While Alexander Isak is more likely to join Arteta’s side than Benjamin Sesko.
“Viktor Gyokeres isn’t going to move unless he’s being given regular football as the nuumber one. Right now I think we can’t discount Arsenal from that race either. Because they have certainly looked at him.
“Some of the rivals being linked don’t have the funds or the squad space. Chelsea made an inquiry two windows ago and chose to not proceed. If Gyokeres comes to the Premier League, the London club will feel there’s a deal there to be had.
“The most viable top choice for Arsenal as I’ve said many times is Benjamin Sesko. Number two in terms of workable deals is Alexander Isak. But he’s the number one in terms of the dream, even above Sesko. Those two are above Gyokeres at the moment.”
The Newcastle star speaking to Alan Shearer in an interview for BBC said that he is not worried at all by the rumours around him. He claims that a lot of the reports are clearly false.
Shearer said: ” It’s reality of football, the more goals you score and the better you do, the more people are going to talk.
“This is something you get used to. Sometimes you see things that makes you laugh and things that aren’t right. But it’s just a part of football. It can’t bother you too much.”
Isak in comparison with Gyokeres & Sesko
Arsenal have three main forward targets heading in to the summer. They can be ranked in terms of most likely to join the Gunners.

Benjamin is the player Mikel Arteta’s team most likely to sign at the end of the season. However, unfortunately, the Slovenian star is the worst in terms of performances out of the three.
Given there’s a lot of discussion on the playing style of each individual. Analyzing their numbers wouldn’t do justice to their abilities and skills, as they’re different from each other.
With Sesko isn’t a regular goal getter as Gyokeres or Isak. Although, the RB Leipzig star is the youngest among the three players, so his potential could be higher.
In the meantime, Gyokeres is scoring more than Sesko or Isak. But, again, he is playing in the Portuguese League. With all due respect, scoring there isn’t the highest of standards.

The north London side have three amazing options available. It will interesting to see how the Gunners make the most out of this. At the time, everyone must be thinking which lane do the Gunners will choose till the end of the season.
