Arsenal would have to spend close to £100 million in the January window to get the players to the Emirates

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to sign Dusan Vlahovic and Fabio Miretti from Juventus to further enhance Arsenal’s squad depth. This is according to a report from Calciomercato.web. According to the report by the Italian outlet, despite the signing of Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal still wants to bring Vlahovic to the Emirates. Along with Valhovic, the Arsenal gaffer wants to sign 19-year-old midfielder Fabio Miretti as well.

On paper, Juventus seem to have an amazing team on their hands. However, this is not the case when they come out to play football. Juventus are currently eighth in the Serie A after three draws and a win and a defeat apiece. This is the underperformance of the highest magnitude from the former European champions. Dusan Vlahovic has had only four goals in the league so far. He seems isolated and looks like he doesn’t have the required support from his team. Arsenal, on the other hand, sits comfortably at the top of the league with 4 wins and one loss in their last 5 games. Arsenal have looked sharp and decisive with new striker Gabriel Jesus getting the service necessary from his teammates.

Gabriel Jesus has been instrumental for Arsenal this season. His four goals in seven matches and 3 assists have helped Arsenal to reach the top of the League comfortably. However, Mikel Arteta must be thinking that things could be even better. Moreover, he would rest easy knowing that Arsenal have a good backup for their primary striker in the form of Dusan Vlahovic. He is just 22 years of age and clinical in front of the goal. Only one question remains and that is whether Juventus would sell him in the middle of the season during January.
