Arsenal Player Ratings Dropped vs NewCastle United.

Arsenal loss against the Magpies was deserved:

The Gunners lost against NewCastle United in the Carabao Cup semi final leg 2. Arsenal were looking forward to come back from their loss in the first leg in this match. They are a really great team no doubt. However, their over confidence made them lose this match. Gabriel Martinelli himself said after their victory against Manchester City by 5-1. However, that was not the case at all during the match. The entire team were outplayed. Alexander Isak hit the post and after that Jacob Murphy scored the goal. Anthony Gordon also scored another goal for NewCastle United. Alexander Isak also shot on goal but it was ruled out for offside.

David Raya has already made many errors in the match and his rating is 2/10. Jurrien Timber was horrendous as well and his rating was 4/10. William Saliba have struggled a lot and his rating was 3/10. Gabriel has also been playing really bad as well and his rating was 4/10. Myles Lewis Skelly have played a bit better than the rest and his rating was 6/10. Thomas Partey rating was 5. Declan Rice rating is 4/10. Leandro Trossard rating was 4/10. Martin Ødegaard has missed a lot of opportunities as well and his rating is 4 out of 10. Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz were both 4/10.

Author’s Opinion:

I think Arsenal definitely deserved to lose this match. They were too over confident before the match even began. Gabriel Martinelli already gave an interview before the match and said the Gunners are looking forward to score more than 3 goals in the match. However, in reality they looked toothless in the match. Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak literally terrified the Arsenal defenders.
