Arsenal are now ready to offer a new long-term deal to Bukayo Saka as per multiple reports in the media.
New contract for Saka at Arsenal
According to the BBC, Arsenal are preparing to hold official talks with Bukayo Saka for a new deal. The academy graduate in the final two years of his current contract.
Manchester City expressed interest in the talented 23-year-old player. But he signed with the Gunners in 2022. Every top club from across Europe will keep an eye on the winger over the next few months.
He is committed with the north London side until the end of the 2026-27 season. And there are ongoing talks to secure a long-term contract extension.
Over the course of the last few seasons, he has become one of the club’s most important players. And that absence since December has affected the Gunners’ hopes of securing the title with a huge impact.
Bukayo will return to football after the international break
The ideal situation for Arsenal would be the Englishman is back in action after the current international break. And the right thing in general and a transfer like his is justified in light of his performances of late.
