Arsenal to face Leicester City with injuries

Arsenal is currently on a series of injuries as they prepare to face Leicester City. Few players may return, but many won’t.

ARSENAL: INJURIES UPDATE

Firstly, Ben White has returned to train with the team. His return has bolstered the team. So, he resumed full training during their mid-season camp in Dubai.

After the knee surgery in November, he seems to have improved. Therefore, Arteta is considering adding Ben White to the squad for the upcoming matchup. So, an immersive boost will be added to the defense.

Bukayo Saka, who was undergoing a hamstring injury in December, has been making quick progress in his recovery. He joined the team in Dubai to continue his progression. So, reports suggest he could return to action in early March to join the Champions League round of 16.

However, the team is still suffering from Martinelli’s injury. His hamstring injury during the Carabao Cup caused him his injury and also Arsenal their match. So, he is expected to be away for a month. Therefore, missing key fixtures including the Premier League and the Champions League.

Additionally, the bad news, Kai Havertz has suffered a hamstring injury during training in Dubai. So, it can be anticipated that he will be missing the rest of the season. Thus, leaving the Gunners with limited options in the attacks.

AUTHOR’S OPINION

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, may need to rely on Trossard and Sterling to fill the void. But Ben White’s return and Saka’s recovery show some optimism in the team.

So, all eyes will be on the upcoming fixture against Leicester City.
