Arsenal have had a very disappointing season, getting knocked out by Villareal in the semi-final, finishing eighth in the Premier League. Certainly, Arsenal would want to reinforce their squad this summer’s transfer window. They have been wanting to sign players that can make an instant impact at the club.

Arsenal have signed Nuno Tavares from Benfica. The left-back joins the Gunners on a 4-year deal.

In addition to Nuno Arsenal have also signed Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht for £15m. The Belgian international signed a deal keeping him at the Emirates until Jun 2026.

Also, Arsenal have tied down Emile Smith Rowe with a new contract and he has been given the number 10 at the club.

Meanwhile, Dani Ceballos, Matt Ryan, and Martin Odegaard all have left Arsenal. As their loan deal expired this summer. Although Martin Odegaard is keen to move to Arsenal after not being able to break into Real Madrid’s first team.

Matteo Guendouzi and William Saliba join Marseille on a loan deal.

David Luiz’s contract expired this summer and is set to leave the Gunners as a free agent.

Since a lot of Premier League clubs have been showing interest in Houssem Aouar, Lyon have increased their asking price. Lyon midfielder is set to join Ben White in signing for the club next week.

Granit Xhaka could leave the Emirates and join the Italian side Roma. But the clubs are unable to agree a fee for the Swish midfielder.
