Arsenal are not interested in signing Bayern Munich‘s winger Serge Gnabry. The recent speculation of Gnabry’s move to Arsenal was conjured up by Arsenal fans from thin air across all social media platforms.

This hysteria of an Arsenal transfer was due to Gnabry’s contract issues with Die Roten. Serge Gnabry’s contact with Bayern Munich expired next season. Moreover, talks over a contract extension have come to a grounding halt due to the player’s lofty demands.

The 26-year-old winger is one of the best players in the world in his position. Many have regarded Gnabry’s 2021/22 season as a ‘down year’ for the player. Despite this, the winger scored 20 goals for the Bavarians. This was instrumental in their quest of being the champions of Germany.

Gnabry’s evolution post his Arsenal spell.

Gnabry started his career in England with Arsenal in the Premier League, making his professional debut in September 2012. The winger scored one goal for the Gunners in 18 appearances before leaving the North London club to join Bayern in 2017.

In 2017, he signed for Bayern Munich and won the Bundesliga title with them. He was also the player of the season in his first year with the Bavarians. The following season, Gnabry scored 23 goals as Bayern sealed a continental treble consisting of the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City are more than interested in acquiring the services of Serge Gnabry. The possible departure of Raheem Sterling means that Manchester City are on the lookout for a possible replacement. According to the report from Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are not interested in the player. However, a new contract with Bayern is still available for Gnabry. Ultimately it’s Serge Gnabry’s decision and he has not yet decided on his future.
