Arsenal youngster Saka draws major interest from European giants

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has become a target for Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

The 20-year-old has emerged as a key player under the tutelage of Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta. He has also established himself as a regular under Gareth Southgate’s England national team set-up.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus will lock horns with Atletico for the signing of Saka, who has been on the list of both clubs for some time now.

Arsenal must out-price clubs in for Saka

The report claims that the Gunners are fully aware of the interest shown in their winger. They will not consider any offers lower than their £43,000,000 valuation.

Realistically, that figure should be set higher. The Englishman is just 20 years of age and was awarded Player of the Season last term. He is also a regular for England for whom he has bagged plenty of Player of the Match awards.

An apparent move away from Emirates has been on the cards for Saka. Arsenal’s struggles and lack of progress is running the risk of them losing one of English football’s biggest attacking talents.

However, Saka recently penned a fresh 4-year contract to stay at the Emirates in July 2020. It seems like he has no plans on leaving the club any time soon.

Making his way through the AFC youth ranks, the winger has had unprecedented success over the past couple of years. Within just two seasons, the young attacker has registered 94 appearances, scoring 12 and assisting 21.

He has been one of the rare bright sparks for the dull North London giants.

Arsenal’s struggles might now lead to a bigger problem as Juventus and Atletico prepare to test the club’s resolve next summer.

Massimiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone rate the youngster highly due to his raw pace, ability to wriggle through tight spaces and make runs in behind the backline.

Fortunately for fans, the club is aware of Saka’s talents. They will look to price the two European giants away from a potential summer switch for the English international.
