Arsenal’s Academy Graduate “On Fleek” Skills Dazzles Arteta

After almost a month away, Arsenal returned to the Emirates to host League One outfit Bolton in the third round of the EFL Cup.

The Arsenal team found their trip to the Etihad Stadium not very exciting, and they felt even more frustration when their game against Manchester City ended in a tie last week. The injuries of eight players made it very difficult for manager Mikel Arteta to handle the situation. The media has focused on criticism of Arsenal’s performance against Brighton and City this week

However, many people discussed what Arsenal’s approach would be to the upcoming match against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup. Many people were uncertain about the lineup for the Carabao fixture and which players Mikel Arteta would choose for his team.

Arsenal displayed their resilience and secured a decisive victory against Bolton in response to criticism. Mikel Arteta put together Arsenal’s new lineup, which showcased an impressive performance in their 5-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.

Ethan Nwaneri, the highly-rated midfielder delivered on his first start for the Gunners after he struck in both halves, with Declan Rice, Raheem Sterling, and Kai Havertz also on target. The youthful talent scored two goals for Arsenal in the 37th and 49th minutes of the match.

Debutants For Arsenal Against Bolton Wanderers

Mikel Arteta gave Ethan Nwaneri, the emerging midfielder, a chance to play against Bolton Wanderers. At just 15, Nwaneri became the Premier League’s youngest player under Arteta by substituting in a match against Brentford two years ago.

Nonetheless, in Wednesday’s match, 16-year-old goalkeeper Jack Porter made history by starting for Arsenal. Jack Porter started as the youngest-ever player in his fourth senior appearance as a goalkeeper.

Arteta gave opportunities to four academy players, including Myles Lewis-Skelly (17), who assisted Nwaneri’s first-half goal with a great pass to Sterling.

Josh Nichols (18) and Porter also debuted at the Emirates Stadium. Raheem Sterling, the loaned winger from Chelsea, earned his first start of the season against Bolton Wanderers.

Mikel Arteta has nothing but praise for Nawaneri.

Post-match Arteta said: “I was really happy. He had a great day, he had all his family and important people around him.

“A proud moment to see another academy graduate signing his pro contract.

He is very close to the first team. The opportunity is there, now he needs to take it.”

Edu and Arteta believe that Nwaneri is prepared for the major leagues after they sent Fabio Vieira on loan to Porto and sold Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham.

Ethan Nwaneri has showcased outstanding abilities, establishing himself as a strong candidate to compete for a spot on the Arsenal team.

According to the EPL index Arteta desires to increase Nwaneri’s playing time on the field due to his strong performance.

What is Next For Arsenal?

Arsenal will take on a crowded fixture list in the upcoming Premier League schedule, featuring particularly crucial matches against Liverpool and Newcastle.

Nevertheless, the return of injured players will boost the morale of Mikel Arteta’s team as they can compete at their maximum capacity.

The Gunners will face Preston in the upcoming round of the Carabao Cup and will host Paris Saint-Germain next month. Despite recent criticisms, Mikel Arteta aims to concentrate on upcoming matches and compete with Manchester City for the title.

Arsenal has recently improved under Arteta, evident in their strong playing style, while Liverpool presents a challenging obstacle for Arsenal due to their impressive performance.

Let’s wait and see what lies ahead for Arsenal, but based on their performance, they have a strong chance to compete for the Premier League title this season.
