Aston Villa and their manager Unai Emery is just waiting to see the club signing a new replacement of Douglas Luiz, multiple sources confirmed this news.
In a podcast Pete O’Rourke revealed that villa is looking a new midfielder to fill the space which left vacant after the selling of the brazilian. The two players that Villa exchanged is not enough for the club and so they are looking for a player in the transfer market.
Some inside news stats that on 12th june, Villa were in advance talk with the old lady over a deal between them, the deal includes Luiz and in exchange two players named Weston McKennie, and Samuel Iling-Junior.
A problem occurred for Aston Villa as one player refused to join the club
The deal has been made with Samuel Iling-Junior, all the talk about the contract has been done and player has agreed everything. But on the other hand the deal between McKennie has been gone sideways and the deal between villa and the player went wrong and player is not ready to accepts the terms of the club, so now the deal is officially over.
So now Juventus has replaced McKennie with Enzo Barrenechea, he is just 23 years old, so now is the part of the deal and Aston Villa have started talks with him over his contract.
It expected that within this week Luiz will complete all the process regarding his switch to the Serie A club, and on the other side Villa will secure the signing to two players along with 20 million as part of the transfer deal.
Fans are thinking that selling Luiz will be a bad thing for the club but that is not the case because they are only selling one player and in return they will receive two player and 50m, which means that they bought two player for just free. By doing this it will help them to balance the books and the 50m which they will receive will deducted from the loses they suffer which will help the club to overcome some of the financial pressure.
They signed the midfielder for just 15m from Man City in 2019, and he renewed his contract with Villa till 2026. This also gives the club an upper hand to increase their profits.
Both of the clubs are ready to complete the deal
A report from Fabrizio Romano claims that an agreement between the two clubs over the deal is in the final stages, on the other hand Juventus are currently negotiating the personal terms with Luiz, it’s just the matter of time
Juventus will also offer some money to Aston Villa as part of the deal to buy Luiz. The Brazilian star has been in the wishlist from a number of clubs with some reports claims earlier this year that Aston Villa have put a price tag of 100m on him and there were strong claims from Arsenal to buy the player last season but it faded away in this transfer window as they did not even shown an interest to buy the player.
The Gunners very interested in the player in the summer of 2022, they even submitted three bids for the brazilin but all the bids rejected by Villa. It also shows that Gunners very interested in the player. The midfielder also does not wanted to leave the club and he signed a long-term deal with Villa’s to give the club a stronger hand in any future transfer business. The highest offer that Arsenal gave was 25m but now the price of the player have increased.
The Brazilian have capabilities of scoring goals as in the last season he scored 10 and not only scoring goals he also gave 10 assists and he played 53 games last year.
