BBC pundit Glen Murray is left shocked after the performance of Liverpool star against Bournemouth

BBC pundit Glen Murray was left amazed after the performance of Liverpool star against Bournemouth. Murray was highlighting the performance of Liverpool on Sunday evening. He shares that Reds star Diogo Jota was really impressive against The Cherries. Liverpool overwhelmed an impressive side away from home, despite missing several key players. Mo Salah and Trent Alexander Arnold were not available during their Premier League clash. Moreover, Wataru Endo and Dominik Szoboszlai were also not there due to international duty and injury respectively. Yet the Reds excelled in all the aspects on the field especially in latter half of game.

Darwin Nunez and Jota were the scorers of the win. Moreover, youngster Conor Bradley also deserved a ton of praise for his enthusiasm on the right. However, Murray was delighted on the brilliance of the Portuguese.

“It’s a really clever finish, he’s a clever player in all fairness, he’s a special player. He’s a little magician isn’t he? You see in his celebration in front of the Bournemouth fans. I just think that everyone expects you to go across the goalkeeper there.

And I think Neto just maybe got his angles slightly wrong, expecting that to happen, he puts it in that near post and it looks like this game could be dead and buried because Liverpool have been very good this evening.”

In the absence of Salah, Jota really stepped up to take the responsibility. This is a good sign for Klopp as his men are ready to take on challenges coming on the course. Besides him, Nunez was also a catalyst for the performance upfront. The opposition fans who were waiting for a clumsy Liverpool after Salah’s AFCON departure may have to wait for a while still.
