India’s Test team will be leaving for England in 3 days’ time.
The BCCI has asked all the team members to gather in Mumbai on the 15th of June after which they will depart on the 16th of June.
The team will also undergo 2 sets of RT-PCR tests in Mumbai.
All players will have to return negative RT-PCR tests.
If any player tests positive, he will have to serve a mandatory isolation period before they can board the next flight for England.
This time around, BCCI will not be hosting any chartered flights for all the players.
They will be flying commercial and have also been allowed to take their families with them.
The second batch of players will go to England on the 19th of June after the completion of the T20I series against South Africa.
A second team consisting of white-ball players will be departing for Ireland on the 22nd of June.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has recovered from his bruised rib injury while KL Rahul is also showing quick signs of recovery at the NCA.
