The Cricket Association of Bengal or CAB has decided to give the Eden Gardens a whole new look.

India will be the sole host of next year’s ICC World Cup 2023.

CAB’s apex council have approved all the plans for the same.

CAB hopes to complete the project by the end of this year.

The state association wants to keep Eden Gardens up to the quality of international standards, thus the renovations.

The work on the lower tier seats has already begun.

Clubhouse, players’ dressing rooms and media boxes are a part of the first phase of renovations.

CAB President Avishek Dalmiya revealed all the updates done to the Eden Gardens.

Eden Gardens no doubt is one of India’s most iconic stadiums.

It has seen many historic wins for India and it was recently used for the IPL playoffs.

India also played a series against the West Indies on this very ground earlier this year.

All the designs have also been approved by the apex council.
