Chelsea and Arsenal are fighting for a ‘generational talent’

The reports in the books reveal that Liverpool and Chelsea are keen to bring into their fold Borussia Dortmund’s on-form striker Karim Adeyemi. The 22-year-old German international has attracted the attention of the top club Premier League due to his fantastic pace, technical skills, and a capacity to play from either flank or through the front-line central point. It is enough of a reason that Karim Adeyemi is highly in demand, both as a winger and as a central striker, so both Chelsea and Liverpool want to reinforce their options with him.

Why Chelsea want Adeyemi?

In a refreshing change, Maresca’s Chelsea would be looking at high-quality reinforcement in a young, dynamic team built around speed and pressing. Already, though, some stars in one form or another are in the attack with Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk; Adeyemi’s on-ball directness and goal-scoring instinct would bring a new dynamic to this setup, bringing even more competition on both wings and in central roles.

His exposure to the Bundesliga and to play in the Champions League has molded him into a man who is not only sound technically but also a resilient man under pressure-a good quality for Chelsea’s ongoing project of rebuilding a competitive team. About Liverpool, their interest in Adeyemi comes through the fact that Jurgen Klopp’s style of play is high-intensity attacking football.

Attributes

As this rate and capability to press would be perfect for Liverpool style, he will, accordingly, be very suitable for the forward line with Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Núñez. His age and potential will also place them in a crucial position in the plans for the long term due to changing the squad, primarily because the club looks forward to keeping the squad competitive and dynamic.

After all, signing Adeyemi will not come without a price tag. Dortmund is said to demand a premium price for their sought-after talents, and with Adeyemi’s capabilities and length of contract, they might be willing to throw a premium price for him. Chelsea and Liverpool must find an agreement consonant with Dortmund’s bill, and that in the fact that there are more suitors, the price will go up. Assuming that one of them wins the bid, that would strengthen the attacking flexibility and depth at their disposal which could then prove to be their advantage in terms of exploits both at home and in Europe for title claiming.
