European giants Chelsea and PSG are after Ballon d’Or runner up Vinicius Junior who is said to be valued at 1 billion euros.
Vinicius Junior was in pole position to be awarded the best player in the world but was tipped by Rodri. The decision, by France Football which received a large amount of backlash. Who wouldn’t want Vinicius in their team? Arguably the best winger in the world, the best Brazilian footballer in the world right now and the best that Brazil has seen since Neymar Jr. Anyway the big question is how much is he worth? and who can afford him? The player has a release clause set at 1 billion euros and the record for most expensive transfer till date is 222 million euros which saw Neymar join PSG. Chelsea and PSG are among the few who are interested and will be capable of affording such huge price tags.
REAL MADRID UNDER THE SCOPE
We cannot argue with the fact that Real Madrid have the best squad in the world. Look at that front line of Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo and their forwards like Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz and Endrik. The midfield of Modric, Valverde and Bellingham, we just can’t stop naming the big names in the team. But they have encountered a few problems this season. With the integration of Kylian Mbappe to an already best team in Europe, everyone thought Real Madrid to be unplayable this season. That hasn’t been the case so far. The inclusion of Mbappe to the team has actually disintegrated the team dynamics. The Frenchman, who is naturally a left winger, is forced to go through the middle as a centre forward. So during the matches he tends to come in the way of Vinicius.
It always hampered the chances of Real Madrid’s attack to progress. If we just analyse the goals Madrid have scored this season they have mostly been individual brilliance. Their attacks at some point have been clueless. As it seems Ancelotti is also clueless about the solution. There is no evidence about the ego clashes between the players but it is visible that there is some problem with the team. We can only line up 11 players in the squad and with this large number of super stars in the team it is really hard to inculcate everyone into the team. CHELSEA AND PSG WANT VINICIUS JUNIOR?
Chelsea and PSG are interested in landing the Brazilian. There is no doubt that they would have to spend a gazillion on him. According to reports from a reliable Spanish media outlet MARCA it is said that Vinicius is currently weighing up his options. He is trying to find a balance between financial incentive and sporting future. So according to reports Chelsea and PSG are betting on their chances to make this deal happen. However they would always face lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs. Vinicius and Real Madrid are going through a hard time after being humiliated by arch rivals FC Barcelona at home. Something which has stunned all Madridistas and the players. Criticism has risen about after the loss about the real problem at the club. Some say Mbappe is the problem and some say Vinicius is. Anyway, former Los Blancos striker Karim Benzema had to say this.
With such a situation going on at the club and such lucrative offers expected to come in future. Real Madrid and their fans can hope that Vinicius chooses football over money. Anyway if at some point the Brazilian chooses to value himself above the club then that would be the end. The current Madrid management trusts Ancelotti to somehow find a solution for their current misery. It would not be a surprise if highly lucrative offers from Saudi or clubs like Chelsea and PSG arrive in future.
