Kobbie Mainoo is a shining youngster in Manchester United. He have been really great for them. He signed a four year contract with the reds for 4 years since the starting of 2023. In the first team, he is the lowest paid player for about ยฃ20,000 per week. Manchester United are still trying to keep him at the club. However, there are concerns raising about INEOS selling the youngster. The Daily mail are saying that Chelsea are in the lead in trying to sign Kobbie Mainoo at the moment from Manchester United.

Will Chelsea be a good option for Kobbie Mainoo?

The Blues are rising in the Premier League since the arrival of their new manager Enzo Maresca. They think that Kobbie Mainoo will be a perfect fit for Chelsea and become a star for them.The fans and the club thought that Kobbie Mainoo is among those type of players who is not touchable and will play for Manchester United long term. However, that is not really the case because Chelsea are already leading the race to sign him. Manchester United can extend the contract of Kobbie Mainoo for twelve more months. However, his contract still runs out by 2027.

I think Manchester United will make a big mistake, if they let Kobbie Mainoo leave the club. They must immediately negotiate about extending his contract in the team. In this weak Manchester United team, he have been performing very well. He deserves to go somewhere he can build his career at this young age. The state and the mentality of Manchester United are not really good at the moment. This will affect his career in the long run. I think he should join Chelsea who are in a better stage at the moment and will develop his career better.
