Chelsea close to signing “Next Ronaldinho”

Chelsea is close to signing teenage sensation Gabriel Mec from Gremio. The 16 year old is one of the hottest prospects in Brazil. He plays for the youth team and has not made a senior appearance yet. According to reports by Goal, Chelsea has sent an offer of £20m to the Brazilian club that has been accepted. The scouts of the London club have been scouting the teenager for a long time. The fans and coaches say he resembles Ronaldinho in many ways. The Blues are eager to get this deal done and enroll the young lad to Cobham.

Mec is a versatile attacker and can play anywhere up top. His thrives on the left flank where he loves to take on the defenders and dribble past them. He has surreal pace and stamina. His dribbling is a treat to watch for football lovers. His set piece abilities are praiseworthy. Him being comfortable on both feet makes him stand out from others. He has that Brazilian flair which the coaches cannot teach. The Brazilian club is thinking to promote him to the senior team this season. If nurtured well, he has the potential to become one of the best footballers in the world in future.

Chelsea to battle it out with Manchester United for teen sensation

Chelsea is expecting to face competition from rivals Manchester United for Gabriel Mec. The Red devils have already lured Arsenal’s teenage sensation Chido Obi Martin this season. The Blues are aware of the danger posed by the Manchester club. The club officials have reportedly met with the player’s agent and wish to complete the deal as soon as possible. Both Erik Ten Hag and Enzo Maresca are building a squad for the future which would need long term investments from now onwards.

Gremio will not be reluctant to sell their starboy if the suitors agree to their set fee. Other European clubs are also on a high alert, keeping tabs on the player closely. If United match Chelsea’s bid, I think it will be upto the player to decide on his future. The player deemed to become “Next Ronaldinho” must make a choice which will either make or break his career.

Reports suggest that if Chelsea sign him, he will still continue playing for Gremio. The Londoners do not want to rush the lad into the new atmosphere and want him to grow with time. He is expected to remain in Brazil until 2026. The youngster will not be able to arrive at England before he turns 18. The scouts from Chelsea will regularly monitor his development and inform the coach when he is ready for the bigger league.

Stamford bridge likely to be the new home for Atletico Madrid striker

Chelsea is in pole position to sign Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid. The Blues are in a hunt for a striker to provide competition to Nikolas Jackson. Atleti is prepared to let Omorodion leave if they sign Julian Alvarez this season. The Spaniard scored 9 goals in La Liga last season for Deportivo Alavez on loan. Diego Simeone admires the player but will not stand in the way of the club if a decent offer comes. His transfer fee is around £35m.

The Blues are also in the pursuit for Viktor Osimhen from Napoli. The club is trying to formulate many options including swap deals to sign the Nigerian. Napoli boss Antonio Conte wants Romelu Lukaku at Napoli. Both the clubs are working on terms which will benefit the interests of all parties involved. There also remains an option for a loan with an option to buy.

Chelsea is throwing hands at whatever they can. Todd Boehly wants to provide Enzo Maresca with a squad which will compete with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal. A top striker is in the wish list of the manager. The Blues have already signed talented youngster Marc Guiu from Barcelona. An experienced striker will help the club win games and also help youngsters like Guiu and Jackson improve their game.
