According to various reports, Chelsea is ready to sell Timo Werner next summer. Reports suggest that Chelsea is reportedly planning for a possible swap deal with Bayern Munich. Chelsea is willing to swap Timo Werner to get the services of Leroy Sane.
Since the arrival of Lukaku at Chelsea from Inter Milan, Timo Werner has struggled to get minutes. The striker since the arrival of Lukaku has not started a single game. Not just that, he has been able to play just 29 minutes of football over 5 matches. Werner has neither scored a goal nor made an assist so far.
With Lukaku scoring regularly, Tuchel’s Chelsea plans to get rid of Werner to get the services of the likes of Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich. After Sane has been in good form with Bayern scoring 2 goals and assisting 2 since the beginning of the season. The 25-year-old winger is capable of not only scoring crucial goals but providing good assists.
How will Chelsea benefit from Sane-Werner swap deal?
With Werner struggling to score goals consistently since joining Chelsea and struggling to get minutes, A player like Sane can prove to be a great replacement. Leroy Sane also has previous experience of playing in the Premier League with Manchester City where he had superb stats scoring 42 goals in 145 games.
The addition of the likes of Sane would strengthen the Chelsea squad. Sane will look to compliment the Lukaku, Havertz, Mount, Pulisic upfront. The depth in Chelsea’s squad and good additions of new players will make Chelsea a powerhouse in Europe.
Although Thomas Tuchel has shown support to Werner and believes he has the talent to score goals, but as time passes, Fans get curious about Werner’s performances in some of the games. It would be interesting to see what is Werner’s future looking like with the Blues and if Chelsea pushes to sign Leroy Sane.
