Chelsea contemplating a summer transfer for Bento

Bento is a Brazilian goalkeeper that Chelsea is thinking about acquiring in light of his stellar performance against England. According to a report by HITC Chelsea is constantly searching for ways to strengthen their roster. Though they already signed a number of goalkeepers since Todd Boehly took over, blues are once again searching for a goalkeeper and Bento is one of the names they have on their radar.

Bento: An Impressive Ascension in the Spotlight

The Brazilian goalkeeper debuted for his country against England in a recent friendly. At Wembley, the 24-year-old put on an excellent display as he maintained a clean sheet in the face of a star-studded attack. As the summer transfer window draws near, there may be a lot of interest in him. Bento has advanced through the Athletico Paranaense ranks. In March 2021, he joined their first squad, and he hasn’t left since. Over the years, the 24-year-old has become stronger and stronger. Additionally, he has been in incredible shape lately.

Many elite clubs are keeping an eye on him as a result of his recent performances, Chelsea among them. Under the new ownership, Chelsea has signed Djordje Petrovic, Gabriel Slonina, and Robert Sanchez as goalkeepers. Sanchez was here to be the team’s star player. Sadly, he hasn’t been able to persuade the London club that he’s the best candidate for the position.

Chelsea is searching for a new number one

Chelsea has resumed their search for a new goalkeeper. Bento is also on their radar, despite the fact that they have been associated with players like Aaron Ramsdale and Giorgi Mamardashvili. Given that the 24-year-old will be available for approximately £15 million, he might be a fantastic opportunity. He has demonstrated his abilities in Brazil and more recently on a global scale. The goalkeeper for Athletico Paranaense has the potential to be a unique player. However he has no prior experience playing in Europe.

In January, Inter Milan expressed interest in signing him. Sadly, the Nerazzurri were unable to come to an agreement, and now that Chelsea and a few other teams have entered the race, the Italian powerhouses will have a very tough time winning.
