21-year-old Chelsea star could be leaving the club soon. Plenty of clubs are keeping an eye on the development of Malo Gusto. The full-back has been great in recent times for the Blues. He has proven himself to be more than capable in the team. At the same time, he is now a regular starter under Enzo Maresca. Owing to his top-drawer performances, the Blues are slapping a big price-tag on the defender. The Frenchman is still very young. So he has a very bright future ahead of him. If he continues to play at such levels, he could become a world-class right back soon enough.
PSG want to steal the Frenchman
As per fichajes, PSG are keen to sign Malo Gusto from Chelsea. The London Blues bought him for €30 million in 2023. But as per reports, they want at least €60 million for him now. So if the move goes through, the Blues will be making a big profit. It could turn out to be a great option for them. But whether or not the move will go through is still not certain. Nevertheless, PSG would definitely benefit from signing the 21-year-old. At the same time, the Frenchman would be playing at home. So he should have little problem settling-in.
Should Chelsea let Malo Gusto leave?
We strongly believe that the Blues should retain the 21-year-old. They already have a problem with Reece James. He is unable to manage his fitness. So selling Malo Gusto would surely reduce their squad depth. In fact, they would have no other natural right-back other than James if the move goes through. At the same time, he is far from reaching into his prime. So selling him now would be a big mistake. Also, manager Enzo Maresca regards him highly. As a result, letting him leave for some extra money does not make much sense.
