Chelsea get Offer to sign “Unstoppable” Broja Substitute

Chelsea have experienced a quiet transfer window, which is unusual for the Blues these days. As a result, Mauricio Pochettino has been forced to stick with his current roster thus far. Regarding departures, the same can be said for the most part.

As the only players who left Stamford Bridge during this month’s transfer window were Ian Maatsen and David Datro Fofana. Neither of whom had a significant impact on the team this season.

Things could still change on both fronts, though, with just a few hours to go before the deadline. It has been reported that the Blues have made an offer to sign a forward from the Bundesliga who could replace or even improve on Armando Broja.

Chelsea makes Broja U-turn

Even though it appears that Chelsea will hold onto Broja until a permanent fee was paid. Now, new reports indicate that Chelsea have agreed to a loan agreement for their young forward with Fulham in a last-minute move during the winter transfer window.

The London giants may have to scramble in the last few hours of the window to find a replacement if Broja does decide to leave. At that point, they have the option to consult the Bundesliga.

Before the transfer window ends, Donyell Malen’s agent has reportedly offered Chelsea the chance to sign him. This information comes from Simon Phillips’ SubstackI’ve been told tonight that Donyell Malen from Dortmund has been offered to Chelsea by his agent.”

The Dortmund player might even be an improvement over Broja. But it’s unclear if Chelsea will have the funds to pursue a deal in the final hours of the transfer window. Malen, though, could more than contribute to the Blues’ need for offensive reinforcements being addressed, which continues to be a major concern for Pochettino.

Broja is not as good as “unstoppable” Malen

They would be wise to turn to Malen if Broja does finish his move away from Chelsea before the end of the window. Malen’s statistics indicate that the Dutchman would not only take the place of the young forward. But he would also be an instant improvement.

Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout praised Malen. Calling the forward “unstoppable” and noting that he showed a lot of promise early in his career.

The Dutchman’s agent reportedly made an offer to Chelsea. Which raises the possibility that a transfer is imminent, whether it happens now or during the summer transfer window. Malen is therefore someone to watch in the upcoming months.
