Chelsea were keeping an eye on the Leicester City player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall since last year and were very impressed with his performance and decided to sign the player.
So now there are some strong reports that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leicester City to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in this transfer window.
It expected that the Blues will pay around £30million for the 25 year old player, the bid from the Blues were higher than any other clubs who wanted to sign the player.
Soon the midfielder will arrive in London to complete his medical which expected to be today according to some of the reports and it expected that the player will sign the contract which will be valid till 2030, the fans are very excited to see the player in blue jersey.

This season the playing style of Chelsea will change as Mauricio Pochettino is not the blues coach anymore, Chelsea appointed Enzo Maresca has appointed as new manager and the Leicester academy graduate fits perfectly in his style of play. He can play an important role in the team’s gameplay this season.
The reports form The Athletic tha the blues have already submitted their offer to Leicester in order to sign Dewsbury-Hall this summer, the offer looks good and there is only a slight chance that Leicester will reject this offer.
Other than Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion also wanted to sign the player, not only that according to reports they have already submitted the offer to buy the player but the player himself refused to move to Brighton and wanted to go some other club. His contract with leicester is valid till 2027, so there is no rush from leicester’s side to sell the player.
Dewsbury-Hall had played 41 games for Leicester under the manager Maresca last season, in those 41 games he scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists, his goals and assists helped the to reach back to the Premier league. They got promote just after one season and it happened because of their strong midfield that helped them to improve their game.

He joined Leicester city when he was eight years old in 2006 and till now he has played for the club at every level. He progressed through the youth system and made his first team debut in 2020, since then he has been the player for the club.
Brighton did talk with Leicester over the signing of Dewsbury-Hall in January but it did not happen, the talks between the both clubs got stuck and were never resumed.
Chelsea are already closing a deal with Barcelona over the signing of a new striker Marc Guiu, he will play a substitute role as he does not have any experience in playing for the first team. Other than that, they are closing a deal with Boca Juniors over the signing of a new defender Aaron Anselmino.
Currently Chelsea is very busy in the transfer market, a lot of player are coming to the club. They have signed a new manager Enzo Maresca, they see him as the right man to take Chelsea to its glory days. The deal for signing Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester almost completed, they have also signed Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa and they have also signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona.
The Blues are trying to make a new improved team after their sixth place premier League finish from last season, they sacked their manager Mauricio Pochettino as they think he was the reason for the poor results. They are confident that these signing will help the club to score more goals which was the problem last year as they were unable to score a lot of goals.
