Chelsea have made another deadline-day signing along with Enzo Fernandez. Enzo Fernandez was not the only deadline-day signing for Chelsea. The Blues have completed the signing of Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Southampton on deadline day. However, the deal had very little coverage. The Blues are expected to pay a hefty sum of money to Southampton for the youngster. The player is regarded as one of the young players in English football. Jimmy-Jay Morgan had turned down a professional contract from Southampton in order to peruse his career elsewhere. Chelsea eventually won the race for signing the young player. The Blues had signed Enzo Fernandez on the transfer deadline day. Fernandez was already a priority signing for the Blues since the beginning of the transfer window.

Although the Blues were busy signing Enzo Fernandez for £ 107 million, they were also trying to sign another player. They were ready to sign Jimmy-Jay Morgan after the news of him being available came out. Chelsea were ready to pounce on the opportunity to sign the player. Arsenal, Manchester City, and Leeds United were all linked with the players. But in the end, it was the Blues who ended up securing the services of the player. The Blues did not waste any time to beat their Premier League rivals to a deal. The London club managed to tie down the player even though he had 18 months left in his scholarship. They are now preparing to welcome the player to their youth squad.

Chelsea were definitely the biggest spender this transfer window. They had already signed Mykhaylo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile during this transfer window. They were among the big-money player signed by Graham Potter. The Blues also signed Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid on a loan deal for the next six months.
