The downside of Chelsea’s transfer policy: Another player ‘unsettled’

Chelsea were one of the very few teams to enjoy a great spell in the summer transfer window. They managed to sign young and exciting players. At the same time, they were no short of numbers either. Everyone in the team was willing to prove themselves on the field. The Blues were heading into the new season with a newer approach and Enzo Maresca on board. They were no short of housing some of the best young talents in world football. Even now, upcoming stars like Estevao Willian will be joining the club in 2025. But as the club continues to grow, so do the challenges. In a stunning turn of events, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is willing to leave the team.

Premier League rivals lurking

The 26-year-old midfielder made a move to Chelsea this summer. Maresca decided to continue pairing with the star following their triumphant Leicester days. But now the midfielder wishes to leave. He is unhappy with the amount of playtime. As a result, he wishes to leave the club. To be fair, the manager can do really little in that. Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo are picking up form for the Blues. At the same time, Enzo Fernandez seems to be regaining his touch. So finding time on the field as a starter is certainly not going to be easy. As per sportbible, Manchester United and Aston Villa are already lining up to make a move for the 26-year-old star.

Growing concerns for Chelsea

The Blues may have a big problem on their hands now. They have a lot of quality players. But, at the same time, everyone wants to play. Especially when they are in good form. Even when they are not, they would be thirsty to prove themselves on the field. You cannot keep young players with a bright future out from the field a lot. Chelsea have already had a similar case with Christopher Nkunku. Now, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is also under the same category. The Blues will have to find a way to retain their stars. Else, they may be losing more players soon.
