Como is a club in the Italian League Serie A; they were promoted to Serie A this season; before this season, they used to play in the Serie B.
Everything till now was going well for the club; they got promoted and signed a couple of players, but recently the CEO of Como, Dennis Wise, announced that he will be leaving his position at the club. He left the position just one month before the new Serie A season starts.
Dennis Wise, the Chelsea legend, recently announced his departure from the newly promoted Italian club Como in the Serie A. Como recently appointed Cesc Fabregas as its new manager, signing the Spanish legend on a four-year deal.
Wise had a very good journey at Como, joining the club as the technical consultant and going all the way to becoming the chief executive officer between the five-year spell. He has played an important role in the club and helped the club reach the Serie A after being absent from the league for two decades.
Como needs to find a new CEO before the new season starts.
Como had some very good years where they had some great accomplishments, and Wise had a big role in this, taking the club into a whole new level and helping them to reach Serie A. The Wise’s decision came as a shock for everyone, and it just came out one month before the new season starts.
The former Chelsea player posted a post on Instagram last week. The 57-year-old was unhappy with the appointment of the new Como’s manager. The Spaniard also has minor shares in the club alongside Thierry Henry.
Dennis Wise posted a message on Instagram, telling the fans that he is leaving his position and exiting from the club. He wrote, With a very big and heavy heart, I inform you that I am leaving Como 1907. He also expressed his gratitude for the time he has spent with the team. Dennis also wished the club to become more successful and should only move in the forward direction. He further expressed his views about the incredible journey he had with Como 1907, and he is happy with the opportunities, experiences, and happiness the club and the fans gave to him.
Dennis Wise also said about the support he got from the team, the coaching staff, and our loyal fans; they all have been very overwhelming, and he said he will always remember these memories that all of us have made together, and these memories will stay with me forever.

He further said that during his time at the club, the club had made significant and much better progress, and they also achieved promotion back to Serie A, which gives him huge pride. He also said that he wanted to acknowledge all the collective achievements and efforts they have done together, and because of that, they are now in Serie A.
The Chelsea legend also expressed his appreciation towards the Como and faithful; he said I am very grateful to all those fans who have supported him and the club at every moment, whether it is bad or good. The passion from the fans and strong and continuous support from them have been the biggest reason and the biggest driving force for him and the club that helped them to achieve so much.
He said that Como has decided to follow the Cesc Fabregas’ direction; he gives his best wishes to the Cesc Fabregas and to all the newcomers to the club, helping them to move forward. He wished well for the club and wants the club to do well in Serie A and in European football.
