According to football’s top journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have made an enquiry about Nottingham Forest defender. On his twitter handle now called X, Fabrizio Romano shared some important updates about Murillo.

“We had rumors from Brazil about Chelsea. What I can say is that Chelsea asked for information on Murillo, just asking how the situation of the player was on terms of negotiation, potential negotiation conditions, the asking price and all this stuff” – Fabrizio Romano about Murillo’s future.

Romano further said that Chelsea have not presented any bid yet and have not started any concrete negotiations. But the Italian journalist believes, Chelsea will want to add Murillo to their squad after completing the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo.

Thiago Silva was heart of Chelsea’s defensive line ever since his arrival. The Brazilian defender won Champions League with the Blues and played the role of leader. His departure will surely leave a void which may take some time to fill. Chelsea have signed Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.
