Chelsea made many mistakes in the January Transfer Window. All of the mistake that they made are given here.
Chelsea busy in the transfer window:
Chelsea have been busy in the transfer window. However, they forgot to buy actual players who are important for the team as well. Enzo Maresca’s team won against West Ham United by 2-1. They came back after being 1-0 down as well. This took some attention away from Chelsea’s January transfer Window.
Chelsea mistakes during the transfer window:
Chelsea made many mistakes during this transfer window. First they let João Félix go out for loan at AC Milan. In the last summer Transfer Window, Chelsea signed him from Atletico Madrid for a large amount of money. However, they already loaned him out. João Félix is a really great player and he did not even play much in the Premier League this season as well.
Chelsea did not even sign a new striker in the January Transfer Window as well. Enzo Maresca even demanded for a good striker to be signed by Chelsea in this Transfer Window. However, the management did not really sign any good striker as well. Nicolas Jackson is a good player. However, he is not really a prolific striker. This is why they need a player who can score many goals for the club and go forward and climb up the table instead.
Chelsea could have also recalled Andre Santos in the team as well. However, they did not do that as well. Chelsea also needed a good midfielder in the team because most of them are injured at the moment.
Renato Veiga was loaned out of Chelsea along with Ben Chilwell as well. This left Chelsea with only one left back at the moment who is Marc Cucurella. They cannot really risk him for getting injured as well.
Author’s Opinion:
I think these Chelsea mistakes will cost them a lot. Enzo Maresca is already looking forward to make several tactical changes in the team as well.
