Chelsea offloading players for a big striker move

Everyone is quite aware that Chelsea are in the market for a new striker. But to fund this move they will have to make some sales. So for the same reason, The Blues have identified ten players that they would like to sell.

Chelsea potential incoming transfers:

The Blues are in talks with Sevilla over a move for the French defender Jules Kounde. Meanwhile, they are also interested in signing their former player  Romelu Lukaku. Chelsea have accepted that Dortmund are not willing to sell Erling Haaland this summer.

The Blues already have had two bids rejected by Inter Milan for the striker. But they haven’t cooled their interest in the player. Further, they are now planning for a third bid for the striker.

Potential Outgoings:

According to The Mirror Chelsea have decided to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga, Kurt Zouma, Emerson Palmieri, and Davide Zappacosta. These are all the defenders that they are planning to offload.

Michy Batshuayi is also set to leave Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, the midfield trio Ross Barkley, Danny Drinkwater, and Tiemoue Bakayoko are also set to leave London.

Tiemoue Bakayoko arrived from Monaco for £40million in 2017 with high hopes but has failed to impress. In addition, the midfielder has spent the last three seasons out on loan with Milan, Monaco, and Napoli.

The 23-year-old striker Tammy Abraham has fallen down the pecking order towards the back end of last season after the arrival of Thomas Tuchel. The German coach prefers playing Kai Havertz in the same position and it’s unlikely that Tammy will start for Chelsea regularly. West Ham have been linked with a move for the striker, but it appears Arsenal are now the favorites to land Abraham.

Marcos Alonso is another player that could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge. Reports claim that he could be used in a deal to sign Jules Kounde. The 30-year-old defender is no longer as crucial to the team and has lost his starting position to Ben Chilwell.
