Here we have with us the Chelsea Player Ratings after their frustrating 1-1 draw against Everton. The game featured the Blues taking on the Toffees at Stamford Bridge during their Premier League clash on Friday.

As Thomas Tuchel’s side failed to secure the win, Chelsea is still at 3rd place with a 3 points gap between them and second-placed Liverpool.

Yet another dominating performance by the Blues ended in misery as the team failed to secure all 3 points. With 81% possession and 23 total shots, the team was unlucky to secure just a single point. Several big chances were created and wasted by the Blues in the first half.

However, the team’s current best player Mason Mount broke the deadlock and scored a stunning finisher via a Reece James assist. When things seemed like they were going to the hosts’ way, Jarrad Branthwaite scored a saving grace off of an Anthony Gordon freekick cross to end the game in a draw.

Chelsea player ratings against Manchester United:

Edouard Mendy (GK) (6.5): Was not tested much. Unlucky to concede a goal in the last stages of the game.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RCB) (7): Stood his ground. Cleared lines well. Often went up the pitch to drive the ball forward.

Thiago Silva (CB) (7): Solid at the back. Did not require to do much.

Antonio Rudiger (LCB) (7): Paceful runs caused troubles for midfield and defense. Could have gotten an assist if Mount had finished his chance.

Reece James (RWB) (8): Usual danger on the right-wing. Missed a sitter but redeemed himself with an assist to Mount.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM) (6): Did not put a foot wrong, but held on to the ball unnecessarily.

Jorginho (CM) (7): Made great through balls. Unlucky to get an assist as Reece James failed to finish a tap-in.

Marcos Alonso (LWB) (6): Made a few cutbacks but not on power with Ben Chilwell’s input.

Mason Mount (RAM) (8): Got a lot of chances but wasteful. Eventually scored the team’s only goal.

Hakim Ziyech (LAM) (7.5): Solid down the left flank and made great runs and turns to beat his man Mason Holgate.

Christian Pulisic (ST) (6.5): Great linker between Mount and Ziyech, but could not finish his chances while playing as a no.9.

Substitutes:

Ross Barkley (CM) (6): Did not do much to show for except for the build-up for Mount’s goal.

Saul Niguez (LWB) (5): Had no idea what to do during the game and hence no input.

Trevoh Chalobah (CB) (5): Did not get a chance to do much.
