Chelsea are on the verge for securing a move for 19-year old Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino. The Blues are signing young prolific players in an attempt to restore glory days at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are a team with immense potential. However, they were unable to fully shine in the previous season. The Blues would go on to secure a 6th place finish in the Premier League. But, Manchester United would knock them out of Europa League contention with their FA Cup win.

Who is Aaron Anselmino?
Anselmino is a 19-year old Argentinian defender playing for Boca Juniors. Moreover, he began his senior playing career just this season and has already caught eyes with his incredible performances.
He has merely made 10 appearances in his club career so far. Boehly and Chelsea are ready to invest in Aaron Anselmino as a potential defensive option. The center back could become a key part of the Blues’ roster. Especially, considering Brazil veteran Thiago Silva’s departure.
If Anselmino finds his feet at the Bridge, the 19-year old may soon become a long term replacement for Chelsea at the back.
Aaron Anselmino to Chelsea: Personal terms agreed!
Renowned Journalist Uriel Iugt has provided an update of Anselmino’s transfer saga. According to lugt, personal terms between Anselmino and Chelsea have already been agreed.
Moreover, the Blues and Boca Juniors will now be negotiating over a fee for the 19-year old. However, lugt also states that Boca Juniors want to keep Anselmino on loan for another season. He states:
“Chelsea wants to take him now, but Boca Juniors negotiates for him to stay on loan until June 2025.”
Boca Juniors have set an asking price of £20 million for the young center back. If like Palmer, Anselmino also shines with the Blues, £20 million would be an absolute bargain!

Anselmino is not the first youngster to be under Chelsea’s radar. The Blues have already secured a move for Estevao Willian. The Brazilian is tipped for greatness and could be the next big thing in football.
Additionally, Ecuador international Kendry Paez is also set to join the Stamford Bridge in 2025. The Blues also recently confirmed the acquisition of 18-year old Marc Guiu from Barcelona.
If you look at it, Willian is a winger, Paez is a midfielder and Guiu is a center forward. Chelsea will sign Aaron Anselmino as a defender. Undoubtedly, the Blues are paving a way for a bright future. Furthermore, as per reports, 18-year old attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman could also be moving to the Bridge.
Chelsea are making all the right moves to announce themselves as serious contenders in the future. Moreover, Boehly is not just splurging £100+ million on any random youngster and is being a little economical than before.
