Chelsea have decided to sell Raheem Sterling this summer. Pedro Neto is the clubs new signing, as he adds himself to the plethora of attackers at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have 15 forwards in their squad and the Englishman will not be able to get regular game time this season. The manager does not consider him as a key player in his team. Therefore, the London club have decided to sell the 29 year old and cash in the opportunity.
Raheem Sterling has not performed to the expectations at Chelsea. The ex Man City winger signed for the Blues two seasons ago. Since then he has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists for the Blues in 81 appearances. Gareth Southgate did not select him for Euros because of his underperforming at Chelsea. He has 82 caps for England!
The player understands that his performance has dropped and is keen on improving this season. However, it is not possible if he does not get regular game time. The Englishman will agree to a move if the club decides to sell him. He will not stand in the way of the club, as he understands its in his best interests. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Italian giants Juventus are interested in the winger.

Chelsea are interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid and have submitted an offer of £56m. The club is keen on selling Raheem Sterling this summer. The Englishman wants to make a return to the national team and feels that he must improve his game to do so. The Blues are in a turmoil and it might not be the best place to redeem himself. He says;
“I love playing for England. It is one of the best feelings you can ever have. To see the boys out there brought me joy. To be honest, they were the only games I watched – the England ones. I love playing for England. I am looking forward to getting back in the England set-up, that is for sure.”
24 year old Joao Felix failed to make a mark on loan at Chelsea. He moved to Barcelona where football fans were able to see his true potential. However, it was not convincing enough for the Catalan giants. The player has poor relationship with his parent club Atletico Madrid, and wants a move desperately. New boss Enzo Maresca admires the Portuguese and feels he could help him revive his career. The youngster was tipped to become the next big thing in football but he failed to live to the expectations.
Felix would love to join Chelsea permanently and focus on improving his football. He has the advantage of youth which benefits him. The forward has all the necessary attributes to succeed in England. He has experienced Premier league before and is excited to take the challenge yet again.
However, the Blues have plenty of quality attackers. The youngster must prove his mettle to the manager and earn a spot in the team.
