Mykhailo Mudryk’s agent speaks about the Ukrainian’s potential

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk’s agent Vadim Shabliy is sure that the 23-year-old has lots of potential if he gets the chance to prove his qualities. He said that there are many more players like Mudryk who are emerging from Ukraine.

Shabliy runs one of the biggest agencies in Europe famously known as Pro Star. The agency has almost 700 clients under its roster and Mykhailo Mudryk is among the top clients. A new emerging star from Ukraine Geogiy Sudakov is also one of the new customers.

Vadim was always sure that he would make his career in football. He started his career by playing for many Ukrainian academy clubs. A knee injury made him hang up his boots at the age of 21. The Ukranian launched Pro Star which handled the contact situation and transfers of football stars.

The agent is sure that Mykhailo just needs time to prove his potential with Chelsea. He expressed his delight to The Evening Standard when the 23-year-old joined Pro Star this summer he said-

” I am glad that Mykhailo has become our client. He is a unique player with great talent and ambition.”

There are more emerging players from Ukraine. Shakhtar Donetsk’s midfielder and captain Gerogiy Sudakov is another hot prospect who is one of the most wanted players from Ukraine. Shabliy believes that Geogiy has the capability to join Mudryk in the Premier League.

Mykhailo Mudryk to miss out on Chelsea’s next match

The Blues are in top form across all competitions this season. Mudryk has got fewer chances but has proven his potential in other League fixtures like the UEFA Conference League. The 23-year-old has rarely had any chances in the Premier League this season.

Enzo Maresca has a huge squad filled with exceptional players. There is no doubt that Mudryk is on the list but there more players who can fill the role of a winger better. The team has more wingers who are the top choice in the first squad team.

A big game is lined up for the Blues in the upcoming London Derby. Marseca addressed that Mykhailo Mudryk will be out from the game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Enzo Maresca’s team is in brilliant form and will look to continue their winning streak in the premier league. The three points against Spurs will be extremely important for Chelsea to maintain their contention of the English silverware.

He confirmed that Wesley Fofana and Reece James will also be unavailable for the upcoming London derby. Speaking ahead of the Sunday clash Maresca confirmed the duo’s unavailability along with Mudryk against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues started their season on a rocky note but have managed to get back in form. If Chelsea want to keep their eyes on titles they will want more than a draw in the next match. They will look to dethrone Liverpool from the top spot of the table.

Is Mudryk really in Maresca’s plan for the Blues? ( Author’s opinion)

Mykhailo Mudryk joined forces with the Blues in the summer of 2023. Chelsea paid a hefty amount of 89 million euros to Ukranian club Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 23-year-old was one of the highest-rated players in his time at Shakhtar Donetsk. Mykhailo has also been named Ukranian Neymar. These glory days have subtled down for the youngster ever since he joined Chelsea.

It is no doubt that Mudryk is exceptional as a winger but the squad is full of talented wingers. This bulk of players has put Mudryk in the second squad of Chelsea. Mykhailo has scored only 9 goals ever since he joined the Blues, 7 of these goals coming in the 2023-2024 season.

A move to a new club is also on the cards for Mudryk if he is not in the plans for Enzo Maresca. He has rarely got any time in the Premier with two goals coming in the Conference League for the youngster. The January transfer window could see Mykhailo parting ways with the Blues.
