The Blues are ready to take on Wrexham on July 25, in California in their pre-season tour. So, Chelsea already started their training for the Pre-season tour without their main striker Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese international is suffering from an ankle injury and did not start the training for Chelsea this month.
Enzo Maresca’s side flew over to the USA for their pre-season tour. The Blues will start their Pre-season campaign against Wrexham, followed by Celtic, America, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. The full team of Chelsea already started their training session. But players like Conor Gallagher, Cole Palmer, and Marc Cucurella are out of this training session for their involvement in the Euro 2024. However, Argentinian midfielder Enzo Fernandez could join the Blues for the Pre-season despite his involvement in the Argentina squad for Copa America 2024.
Well, some of the Chelsea players are still suffering from injury but still make their presence in the training ground. Players like Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, and others are also available in the Pre-season tour. Enzo Maresca is hoping for a perfect start in the Pre-season before the regular Premier League season starts next month.

The main striker of Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson is still out of the training session because of an ankle injury. The Senegalese international has been suffering from an ankle injury for the last month since the World Cup qualifiers match against Congo. According to the news published by Chelsea News, reporter Kiernan Gill said that Nicolas Jackson is still out of the training session with Blus. He said,
“Full traveling list for Chelsea’s tour yet to be confirmed, but told Nicolas Jackson is expecting to join the squad stateside. Not seen in full team training at Cobham as there’s a day-to-day evaluation of ankle issue”
Chelsea already signed two new strikers in the summer transfer window. Omary Kellyman from Premier League side Aston Villa and Marc Guiu from Barcelona. Enzo Maresca will start the pre-season tour with all the new signings. As Nicolas Jackson is still not fully fit, Chelsea manager Maresca could give a chance to the young talents or to the new signings. Another Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku missed the majority of last season due to an injury crisis and made only 11 appearances last season, 9 of them coming off the bench. So, the Frenchman is eager to get more playing time under the new manager and hopes to give his best performance in the upcoming Premier League season.
