Chelsea striker scored a brace as the Blues beat West Ham

Chelsea beat West Ham United by 3-0 away from home in the Premier League to secure their second win in the last three matches in the league. Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson scored a brace in the match. Last season Chelsea’s top goalscorer and top assists provider Cole Palmer scored the third goal in the match as the Blues comfortably dominated the match and secured all three matches.

Nicolas Jackson scored a brace against West Ham United

Nicolas Jackson gave the lead to Chelsea within five minutes of the match after scoring the opener. After newly signed Jadon Sancho passed a through ball to Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese striker ran through on his own and scored the goal. West Ham were looked a little casual in the defense and Jackson took the advantage as he sprinted towards the goal and slotted the ball beyond the goalkeeper.

Fourteen minutes Jackson doubled up Chelsea’s lead after scoring the second goal for the Blues. Again it was very casual from the West Ham defense and the Chelsea number nine took the advantage once again and scored the second goal to complete his brace. This time Moises Caicedo found Jackson and the Chelsea number nine perfectly times his run to get the pass from Caicedo.  Jackson is again allowed to run in behind the West Ham defense and finish past the advancing Areola.

Two more goals for Nicolas Jackson as the Chelsea striker scored four in total this season, along with two assists. Jackson scored 17 goals last season in 44 matches across all competitions. So, there is no doubt that this is a very good start for the Senegalese. The West Ham match is by far one of the best matches for the 23-year-old in this match. Sprinting through the defense of the hammers and finishing brilliantly is one of the pieces of evidence of Nicolas Jackson’s brilliant performance in that match. Since 2016, no Chelsea striker crossed the 15-goal mark in the Premier League. So, all the Chelsea fans are hoping that Jackson might cross that mark this time around.

Cole Palmer is once again in the Scoresheet for the Blues

The Blues’ last season’s top goal scorer and top assists provider Cole Palmer also had a good match and scored the final goal of the match. The English international scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in the Premier League till now. The 22-year-old is the second top assist provider in the league along with Liverpool winger Mo Salah.

Moises Caicedo also had an impressive match against West Ham United in the league. The 22-year-old gradually showed why the Blues had spent the British record transfer fee of £115m in the last summer transfer window. The Ecuador international also earned his first goal contribution of this season after providing an assist to Jackson for the second goal. So, overall it’s good team performance by all the players in the match.
