As reported earlier, Chelsea and PSG are both still strongly interested in the Brazilian wonder kid Endrick. Barcelona‘s links with the player got stronger last weekend after their manager Xavi admitted that the club have contact with the player. However according to Marca, that the club will not compete with PSG and Chelsea for the signing. It is claimed that Barcelona will not fight for a player whose release clause is close to €60m. It has also been reported that the player have been to both London and Paris to hold talks with the respective clubs.
Chelsea to hold talks with the teenager
Endrick can only leave Brazil after he turns 18 years of age in 2024, hence all the interested clubs are trying to secure his services before that. According to Nizaar Kinsella, the Blues will stiff competition from PSG and Real Madrid as they discuss a possible transfer for the teenager. PSG have already made a bid for the player. Real Madrid are really pushing for the transfer and are very serious about it. Chelsea will have to provide a proper program for the player which will trump their competitors. Chelsea are said to try till the very end. The player’s family had visited Stamford Bridge and have even met club veteran player Thiago Silva and they are confident that the player will choose the Blues.
This transfer race will continue for the next few weeks. Chelsea would definitely hope that it is them that the young player chooses but ultimately it’s a choice that lies with Endrick and his family.
