Chelsea to try and make attempts to sign RB Leipzig star Joško Gvardiol after their failed attempts from the last transfer window. According to Alfredo Pedullà, The Blues might hold a meeting after the World Cup to discuss the possible signing. According to reports, the work is already in progress as Chelsea have already contacted the Croatia international’s agent to close the deal as soon as possible.

Chelsea to make another attempt on the RB Leipzig star player

It seems that the new manager Graham Potter who took charge after Tuchel back in September have given his approval for the 20-year-old’s signing for Chelsea. Potter considers Gvardiol perfect for the style of football that he wishes to play. Back in the summer, Leipzig had rejected Chelsea’s offer of €80m for the centre-back, who can also play well on the left side of defense. Reports claim that Gvardiol was not open for a move last summer but apparently he is ready for a ‘big leap’ this transfer window. Other clubs like Tottenham and PSG are also reportedly interested in the player.

The Blues plan to do everything to sign the player

Reports claim that the Blues will do everything to outperform their competition for closing the deal for the versatile player. It is not known about the fee that Chelsea are willing to offer to RB Leipzig. They plan to have at least one player guaranteed for the transfer window which is why they are ready to push for everything for the deal.
