After a successful loan spell at AC Milan, Fikayo Tomori seemed to impress Paolo Maldini a register his spot in the AC Milan backline. Fikayo Tomori joins The Rossoneri on a permanent deal. The 23-year-old joins for a fee of right around €28m, signing a four-year contract through 2025.

Tomori wasn’t the only player to join The Rossoneri, Chelsea also saw the departure of striker Olivier Giroud. Giroud leaves Stamford Bridge to join the Italian giants on a permanent deal. Giroud is understood to be sold around €1m with an extra €1m in bonuses subject to a number of appearances.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have made contact with Robert Lewandowski’s agent regarding a permanent transfer.

According to a report by L’Equipe, Chelsea are interested in signing Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Reports have been suggesting that Arsenal were leading the race to sign Tammy Abraham this summer, and The Athletic have since confirmed that Arsenal really are interested in signing Abraham.

According to the latest reports in Italy, Marcos Alonso is reportedly pushing Chelsea to let leave for a new Serie A experience with Inter.
