Chelsea set to make move for Arsenal-bound top-class player

Chelsea are looking to make a move for Viktor Gyokeres now. They came pretty close to sealing the deal for Victor Osimhen. But the move would collapse in its final stages. Even then, they were considering to sign the Nigerian star in January. But, the 25-year-old has made it clear that he wishes to stay with Galatasaray for the season. Napoli will be reducing his price tag in the upcoming summer. So there is a chance that the London-based club may still move for him. But they also have another very promising option available now.

Chelsea want Viktor Gyokeres

The 26-year-old looks to be entering his prime. As per transfermarkt, he has 76 G/A in 64 appearances for Sporting. The stats say it all. Although Chelsea do have Nicolas Jackson playing in top form for them. But having an experienced alternative up front would certainly boost them. At the same time, Sporting are considering to let Gyokeres go for โ‚ฌ60-70 million. So top clubs can sign him for a bargain. The Blues will be able to solidify their position if they are able to secure a move for the striker.

Ruben Amorim will play a role…

As per chelsea.news, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool will also be eyeing a move for the 26-year-old. Already, Arsenal were in contention to sign him this summer. So they could move for him with Gabriel Jesus leaving. At the same time, the player’s agent made it clear that manager Ruben Amorim made him stay in Portugal. Now, Manchester United are close to hiring Amorim after sacking Erik Ten Hag. So there are chances that the striker may follow in his footsteps too. As of now, a move to Premier League seems imminent. But it will be interesting to see where the 26-year-old star striker plays next.
