Chelsea needs six points from their final three Premier League games to guarantee a top-four finish with three games to go. They host their London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Thursday. The kick-off at 12:45 am IST.

Chelsea won their last match against Premier League winners Manchester City, with Manchester United losing to Leicester City. Tuchel will now face Guardiola’s apprentice Mikel Arteta. The last time these two sides came face to face, Arsenal won 3-1 against Chelsea which left a sour taste for the Blues. They will be looking for their redemption against the Gunners.

Arsenal won their previous match against West Brom. They are set to be relegated to the championship under Sam Allardyce. He is relegated from the league for the first time. E.Smith Rowe opened the scoring with other goals from Nicholas Pepe and Willian.

Chelsea will be without Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen against Arsenal.

“Kova is not ready for tomorrow,” said Tuchel. “So his personal race is on to make it to the squad to Wembley.

Tuchel said the season was not over for Christensen, and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Andreas, it’s better than we feared, it will be also a tough one, but the season is not finished for him hopefully. So we have realistic hopes that his latest comeback will be against Aston Villa”

Chelsea should line up with their go-to-formation with three centre backs at the back. Zouma should start ahead keeping in mind that Thiago Silva will be there for the cup final. Azpilicueta and Rudiger could be the other two CB’s. Reece James and Marcos Alonso as wingbacks and Jorginho and Gilmour in midfield. In attack, we should see a trio of Mount, Ziyech, and Havertz.

Smith Rowe was withdrawn against West Brom due to hamstring pain. They will be missing defender David Luiz due to a hamstring injury. Joining the injury list, Xhaka and Pablo Mari could also be out of the game. Odegaard will start at Stamford Bridge given their injuries.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should be in the line-up. He’s recently recovered from malaria. He could feature upfront alongside Lacazette as Martinelli makes way. Kieran Tierney should start at left-back.

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Gilmour, Alonso; Mount, Havertz, Ziyech

Arsenal: Leno; Chambers, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Elneny, Saka, Odegaard, Aubameyang; Lacazette.

In the North-West London Derby, Chelsea has not lost to Arsenal for 10 years at home. We predict the Blues to win 2-1 against the Gunners.
