Leeds United have struggled with injuries in recent weeks and only managed a 2-2 draw against Brentford during the last game-week. Marcelo Bielsa’s side has picked up just 16 points from 15 league games and currently sit 15th in the league table.
The European Champions have had two disappointing results in a row. Chelsea lost to 3-2 to their London rivals West Ham United last game-week. They also failed to claim the top spot in their Champions League group after a 3-3 draw with Zenit mid-week.
The draw meant that Chelsea finished 2nd in Group H. While Juventus clinched the top spot with a 1-0 win over Malmo. Both the teams will be looking for a bit of luck to bounce back from their recent disappointing results.
- Chelsea are on a four match win streak against Leeds United at home.
- Leeds are on a six match winless run against the European champions in all competitions.
- Chelsea have drawn their last two home games with the score-line of 1-1, against Manchester United and Burnley.

Midfielder duo Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek missed the mid-week Champions League tie against Zenit. Both could make a return for the Leeds clash but remain minor doubts. Timo Werner scored 2 goals and provided one assist and will be hoping to be back in the starting line-up after such a strong performance.
Star striker Romelu Lukau scored his first goal after returning from injury and will be hoping for his first start after the injury this weekend. Regular members of the backline Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger will also return to the starting line-up for the clash.
Chelsea will be without Ben Chilwell and N’Golo Kante. Trevoh Chalobah is also a major doubt with his thigh problem. Midfielder Mateo Kovacic remains unavailable after testing positive for Covid.
The peacocks welcomed Patrick Bamford for the Brentford match but the striker picked up yet another injury towards the end of the game. Rodrigo is ruled out due to heel pain. While Robin Koch is reportedly ill.
