Chelsea would try to hold on to their third position when they host Leicester at Stamford Bridge.
It was a tough outing for Chelsea’s last outing as they lost to Liverpool in the penalties to lose the FA cup.
It was a tough end to the season for Chelsea. With all the takeover bid and new owner, they now only have the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup as the two silverware to show this season.
However, Arsenal’s loss to Newcastle on Monday guaranteed their third position.
Chelsea have not enjoyed a good time at the Stamford Bridge for the last few matches. They have succeeded to win just four matches out of the twelve they have played at home.
On the other hand, Leicester had a good time out at their last meeting against Watford. There they fired past five goals against a helpless Watford side at the Vicarage Road.
Leicester can now give up their hopes of playing in European competition next season. However, they could certainly hope for a top-half finish in the Premier League.
As they have Southampton for their last game of the campaign they would certainly reserve their energy to win that one, as the one against Chelsea would be a hard one.
