Chelsea want to sign former United man Andreas Pereira. The Blues are hoping to replace their captain Conor Gallagher with him.

Last season Conor Gallagher led Chelsea as a captain. He had a good season with the Blues but the owners want to sell him in this transfer window. According to Chelsea News Atletico Madrid is most likely the next destination for Conor Gallagher.
A Brazilian news outlet is claiming that Chelsea are linked with a move for Andreas Pereira. Last season, Andreas Pereira was the main playmaker for Fulham. Multiple reports are suggesting that the Brazilian playmaker will cost the Blues around £30m.
Why do Chelsea want Andreas Pereira?
The Brazilian playmaker Andreas Pereira had previous experience in Premier League because he played for Manchester United. His performances were not that good for the Red Devils. So, they sold him to a Brazilian club.
Andreas Pereira came back to English Premier League and displayed commanding performance in Fulham. He became the main player at Craven Cottage. Fans loved to watch his flair and visionary passing.
On top of that he can score bangers from outside of the box. For these abilities every team want to have him in their squad.
What role Enzo Maresca will give to Andreas Pereira?
At this moment Chelsea have one playmaker and it is the young England international Cole Palmer. Last season, he ran the entire playing system at Stamford Bridge which led towards victory against teams like Manchester City and Manchester United.
